- Sources Sought for the following requirement. A computer controlled recording system. System requirements: 1. The system must digitize all input from an analog audio source and store the digitized format in a location accessible from multiple co-located workstations, 2. The system must allow at least two analog inputs from separate sources, 3. The analog input must plug into a female 1/8" standard audio connector, 4. Starting and stopping of each recording must be manually controlled from each workstation, 5. The system must provide a minimum 8khz sample rate., 6. The system must allow the digitized recording e played back from any of the connected workstations., 7. The playback system should be activiated and controleed with a footpedal control. The footpedal must have a forward and reverse controls. 8. The systems should have the capacity to store at least 112 hours of audio for at least nine workstations. 9. The recording system should be capable fo compressing the audio to save disk space, 10. The vendor should provide installation personnel with a minimum secret security clearance., 11. All equipment and workmanship must carry at least a one-year warranty., 12. All hardware must function on an existing windows NT 4.0 network with the ability to progress to a Windows 2000 network in the future, 13. All recorded audio should be stored in a non-propiretary format. =20 A total of 12 workstations will be installed at two locations. Any vendor who believes that they can provide the equipment and services as requested above must provide their qualifications statements and at least three references. The qualifications statements should include technical specifications and sufficient information for the Government to determine capabilities. The references should include: The contract number, name of the company where work performed, point of contact name and telephone number. The contract should be one completed within the last two calendar years. Fascimile and email responses are acceptable.
