Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. Solicitation number RFQ-797-FDF4-01-0022 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-26. The NAICS code is 337920 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This action is set aside for small business. The Air Force Medical Logistics Office/Veterans Affairs Special Services (AFMLO/VASS) Contracting Activity has a requirement for vinyl horizontal blinds for the medical treatment facility dining hall located at the United States Air Force Academy, CO 80840. This RFQ is for brand name or equal. The contractor shall provide the following: quantity of 16 Excalibur 2" vinyl horizontal blinds, fresno white to include installation. Interested parties shall contact MSgt Karen Robinson, USAF Academy (719) 333-5361 to schedule a site visit to measure windows. Delivery is FOB destination to the USAF Academy no later than August 13, 2001. The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition. FAR clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification -- Commercial Items; and FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification -- Commercial Items, with the offer. The Government anticipates award of a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsive/responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government.
