Description

The Office of the Secretary (OS), Office of Public Health and Science (OPHS), Office of Minority Health (OMH), through the General Acquisitions Branch, PSC, intends to award a twelve (12) month sole source simplified acquisition to Native American Mentoring Enterprise. The purpose of this simplified acquisition is to implement an innovative mentorship program for young Native Americans that will begin in the 7th grade and continue through the 12th grade. This program will include a life-changing summer retreat to be held on the campus of a tribal college. THE Proposed simplified action is for services for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested presons may identify their interest and capability to response to the requirements within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice. A determination by the government not to compte this proposed simplified acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the description of the Govenment. Information received will normally be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.
