- Description
- The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for substance Abuse Treament (CSAT), plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to the National Association of Drug Court Professionals, Alexandria, VA. The proposed contractor shall support the development of new court models designed to improve the way courts handle child abuse and neglect cases involving substance abusing parent(s). The contractor is uniquely qualified and possesses proprietary data required to complete the mission of this project. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
