Description

See Note 23 Refurbish 60-inch diameter gate valve and replace electric motor/actuator. The valve shall be tested to meet the minimum of AWWA Standard C500. Valve is a special, iron body, bronze mounted, flanged, double disc, parallel seat, electrically operated, O.S.&Y., 60-inch gate valve with a twelve (12)inch O.S.&Y. bypass gate valve and two (2) elbows. Manufactured by A.P. Smith Mfg., East Orange, NJ in 1953. Solicitation available for review effective as of June 25, 2001. Anticipated award date is July 30, 2001. All responsible Small Business sources submitting quotations will be considered. Award will not be based on low bid alone.
