Description

Work includes but is not limited to: Replace roofs on 25 Post buildings; convert one roof from metal to asphalt shingle; one building has asphalt shingles to be partially replaced; EPDM roofing to be completely replaced; and metal roofing to be repaired and painted; another metal roof is to be repaired and painted; two buildings have asphalt shingles to be replaced in kind and metal roofing to be repaired and painted; one building has a modified bitumen roof to be replaced in kind; one building has asphalt shingles and roll roofing to be replaced; all other buildings have asphalt shingles to be replaced in kind; incidental repair items will be ordered separately by the Contracting Officer as needed. All buildings will be occupied. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This will be a firm fixed-price requirements type contract. Ordering period is 365 calendar days from date of award or 14 SEP 00, whichever is later. This acquisition is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. The size standard for a small business concern, including its affiliates, is average annual sales or receipts for the preceding three (3) fiscal years, not to exceed $7 million. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 23561. IFB is to be issued on or about 13 Jul 01. Bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database in order to receive award. All requests for this IFB should be in writing and reference DABT19-01-B-0007.
