Description

This solicitation is being advertised "UNRESTRICTED" for full and open competition. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 233320: The Size Standard is $27,500,000.00, General Constractors-Nonresidental Buildings, Other Than Industrial Buildings And Warehouses. The work includes the purchasing and installation of new/gas piping, equipment, alarms, valves and accessories along with the demolition of existing equipment, piping and accessories. Additionally the work includes the general cutting, patching and painting of walls throughout the facility to accommodate the changes to the med/gas system and the demolition and reconstruction of existing walls of the nitrous oxide storage room. New one hour rated walls, an acoustical ceiling and a 3/4 hour rated door shall be installed. The work will also include electrical power for the new alarms and equipment along with restoration of power and lighting for the nitrous oxide storage room. The work shall be located at the Naval Hospital, Beaufort, S.C. The Government intends to issue the entire solicitation including plans and specifications on or about 16 July 2001. Viewing and downloading will be available at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Prospective Offerors must register themselves on the website.
