Description

ISSUE DATE: 07/16/01. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to extend boathouse door, USCG Point Judith Boathouse, Narragansett, RI (Washington County). Work includes, but is not limited to, rework existing section overhead door opening for new sectional overhead door. Replace structural wood framing with new steel columns and glue-laminated wood beam. Extend concrete ramp to match existing. Relocate existing utilities such as cold-water spigot, alarm panel, pull station, and alarm box. Relocate exterior light fixture and weatherproof power outlet. Patch existing vinyl and aluminum siding, floor finishes and ceiling. Install new electrical circuit for a new door opener and rework existing ductwork. Relocate ceiling mounted fixtures such as fan, heat rise detector, and light fixture. Perform other consequential work such as maintaining dust barriers and temporary ceiling supports, repairing landscaping and pavement, and interior painting of immediate work area. Estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000 dollars. NAICS code is 234990. Solicitation packages to be available on or about 07/16/01.
