This requirement will be available for downloading from our website beginning approximately 12 July 2001. Prior to this date you will not be able to access this solicitation. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 332992, size standard is 1000 employees and FSC Code is 1377. This requirement is for fabrication of various Cartridge Actuated Devices (CAD) metal parts in accordance with the drawings and the terms of the solicitation. The items are as follows: Spring in accordance with Drawing 8875988, Eye Lanyard in accordance with Drawing 8875989, Retainer Washer in accordance with Drawing 8875998, Screw Sems in accordance with Drawing 8876000, Firing Pin Release in accordance with Drawing 8875980, Case in accordance with Drawing 8875990, Primer Retainer in accordance with 8875985, Knife in accordance with Drawing 8875987, Retainer in accordance with Drawing 8875993, Delay Body in accordance with Drawing 8875994. This contract will have a base requirement with five (5) options all to be awarded within five (5) years. The required delivery and quantities for the base and options are various and will be indicated in the solicitation. Award will be made based on Best Value based on a tradeoff of price and other factors as set forth in the solicitation.
