Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a commercial item prepared IAW the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation M67004-01-Q-0025 incorporated provisions in effect through Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13 and Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. The NAICS Code is 114229 and the small business size standard is 3.5 million dollars. The order will be Firm-Fixed-Price, FOB Destination for 1 each Jitney Trailer in accordance with the following specifications: Equipment Transport Trailer (Jitney) Specifications: Sliding Tandem 8' x 32' 1. Capacity: 45,000 GVWR 2. Deck Rating: 25,000 lbs. in 10ft 3. Estimated Base Weight: 15,000 lbs 4. Ma inframe: 16" at 261bs. I Beam Main Frame 5. Hydraulic cylinders: 2 ea. 4" x 20" tilt with l' x 4' cylinder for axle travel. Powered by 16hp gasoline engine prefer Honda Brand. 23. Trailer bed: 24. Load Angle: Entire bed rolls back for loading and unloading with No more than 11 Degree incline and Y4" ground clearance. 24. Towing/Hitch: 5th Wheel Assembly, Gooseneck with 2" pin and plate-towed behind 5-7 ton Tractor. 25. Winch: 10,000-lbs.-pull capacity with Remote control, cable guide, to ensure tangle free usage. Power cable long enough to allow operator to run from seat of equipment, being loaded or unloaded. With a protective gage, built around motor and cable assemble to prevent damage. The delivery requirement is AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Origin. The following FAR Clauses are being implemented in this requirement. FAR 52.121-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies except paragraph(s) (d), (h) and all of (I). Paragraph (b) offers may be submitted by FAX and in addition to the DUNS number requirement in (j), the contractor is required to include their DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) number. FAR 52.212-1, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is applicable less paragraph (b). Also, all sub-factors and factors are significantly less important than price, delivery and past performance. Price and delivery are approximately equal to past performance. FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representation and Certifications Commercial Items with Alternate I, shall be completed with proposal to validate size status.
