Description

DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide maintenance and servicing of portable fire extinguishers located on Andrews AFB, MD. This acquisition will be in accordance with part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and is subject to the Service Contact Act of 1965 as amended. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business; the applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NACIS) code is 56199 size standard $5,000,000.00. The period of performance will be from the effective date of award to 31 July 02. Anticipated solicitation date will be on or around the 26 June 01. The solicitation, notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
