Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure the following items from Spiricon, Laser Beam Diagnostics, 2600 North Main, Logan, UT 84341 on an other than full and open competition basis: 1 each -- Pyrocam based CO2 Laser Beam Imaging and Positioning System. This system includes: Model LBA-PC-PIII Single user software license for Pyrocam III; Pyrocam III Model Py-III-C-B including: firewire pyroelectric 2D matrix array camera for CO2 laser beam profiling, Ultracal for 1% beam width accuracy and whole beam gausian fit, Lens mount and internal focal plane chopper for CW, two firewire interface ports, Windows image viewer, 2D and 3D beam display, Readout externally calibratable for energy or power, frame averaging and summing for low level signal analysis, Data Logging, Windows setup menu, real time operation, programmable exposure time, operational capability for laser power ranging from 0-475 watts maximum; 1 each -- Model PCI-1394 Firewire to PCI interface; 1 each -- Scan Sync III; 1 each -- Pyroprobe Model SSIII-P-Pyro for 10.6mm; Model LBS-100-IR with 5% wedge; 1 each -- Model LBS-100-IR-W 0.5% wedge; 1 each -- PC controlled XYZ positioning system; 1 each -- Desk top controller with Spiricon specific hardware and software, including Dell 4100 with 20GB HD, 128MB, 133 MHz SDRAM, 17" monitor, Windows 2000 Professional, 32MB graphics card, 48X CD ROM, 250 MB Zip Drive; 1 job -- Equipment set up and in-house training. The sole source is based on Unique Capabilities and proprietary rights of software. Responsible firm's believing they can provide the above service, should submit a written response to the Contracting Officer on or before 03 July 01, clearly showing their ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
