Description

SUBJECT: Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to extend Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) No. N00019-99-G-0030 for the procurement of Harpoon Weapon System (HWS) supplies and services from Delex Systems Incorporated, 1953 Gallows Road, Suite 700, Vienna, VA 22182-3991. The BOA will provide for the supplies and services necessary to do hardware and software training on the HWS for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. All orders placed under this BOA will be announced in accordance with FAR 5.2. This BOA will be in effect for a period of one (1) year. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete any of the orders under this BOA is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Delex has a unique knowledge base of these systems and training requirements as a result of its support of these systems since the early 1970s. Delex is the sole designer, developer, and producer of FMS HWS tactical employment training and has individually tailored training systems to specific FMS customer requirements and needs. Delex has extensive experience in tactical training in the FMS environment and a thorough knowledge of the technology transfer/disclosure implications related to these training systems and software. Accordingly, Delex is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein.
