Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0248 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25 and 97-22 (correction) as well as DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 335929 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 -- 47 each cable assemblies in accordance with Mil-Spec MS90347-20 and CLIN 0002 -- 47 each cable assemblies in accordance with Mil-Spec MS90328-14. Clins 0001 and 0002 are to be manufactured to the exact specifications of the attached NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND Drawing 3468AS200. Drawing are availabe to downloaded at http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. . Delivery is required F.o.B. Destination within 45 days after award. Final inspection will be at destination. All items will be shipped to NAVAIR SEFAC, POB 54, Bldg 105, Solomons MD 20688. M/F C127. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. Along with your offer, provide references from a minimum of three Government/State/Local Agencies in which you have manufactured same/similar items. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR). If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
