Description

The National Park Service (NPS), San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, Fort Mason, San Francisco, has identified a requirement to fabricate and install seismic bracing and restraints for cabinets and shelving units housing archival collections in the South Wing of Building E, Third Floor. The contractor shall supply all materials for fabrication and labor for installation. They shall have experience in the fabrication and installation of seismic bracing for interior shelving, storage cabinets and other equipment. The work site is in a Museum storage environment with sensitive and fragile archival materials. The work may require the contractor to handle historic archival materials. The contractor will need to work with Museum staff in the coordination and temporary relocation of any archival material in the collection. The National Park Service welcomes the participation of small, minority and woman-owned enterprises.
