Description
Headquarters Forces Command, (FORSCOM) Army Atlanta Contracting Center intends to issue a Solicitation for basic level language training/pre-deployment training and refresher training for one or more foreign languages to include but not limited to Arabic, Korean, Persian-Farsi, Russian, and Spanish. These languages will be taught at Ft. Bragg, NC; Ft. Campbell, KY; Ft. Drum, NY; Ft. Polk, LA; Ft. Stewart, GA; Hunter Army Airfield, GA; Ft. Lewis, WA; and Ft. Hood, TX; various U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) locations; as well as other supported customers with up to four (4) levels of difficulty per locality. The contractor shall provide the administrative support; Learning Center (Language Laboratory) Operator support for selected language laboratories/instructors; language training material development/adaptation; and instructional services. The proposed instructors must be familiar with the Interagency Language Roundtable Language Skill Level Descriptions for language proficiency in the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. AACC anticipates a Performance-Based Service Acquisition requirements type contract that will include a base period of twelve months plus four one-year options. North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) 611630; size standard $5.0 million and Federal Service Code R419 apply. Solicitation will be posted as a set-aside for Small Business to the Army Atlanta Contracting Center Home Page. Interested vendors may examine the draft Performance Work Statement and Technical Exhibits for industry review, discussion and written comments. Potential vendors are invited to attend a Pre-Proposal/Site Visit on 19-20 July 2001 located at Ft. Bragg, NC in Building 2-4827, off Armisted Street. The Pre-proposal conference will be conducted to address further questions or concerns relating to the proposed Request for Proposal. Vendors interested in attending Pre-Proposal Conference must notify this office by 11 July 2001. Notification shall include Company name and number of Representatives attending. The Draft Performance Work Statement and Technical Exhibits will be available after 3 July 2001 at Internet address http://www.forscom.army.mil/aacc/CurrentOps/default.htm. Interested parties may attend the Pre-Proposal Conference scheduled for 19-20 July 2001. Any resulting request for proposals will be posted at the same website as the request for information.
