Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, and incidental supplies necessary for the Construction and Surfacing of approximately 10.8 Miles of Multi-Use Trail on the Tell City Ranger District of the Hoosier National Forest in Orange County, Indiana. Work will include, but is not limited to: 1) Clearing and Grubbing the trail clearing limits; 2) Excavation, as necessary; 3) Installation of six or more culverts; 4) Installation of two (2) retaining walls (total length approximately 100 feet, height approximately 3 feet); 3) Installaation of six or more culverts; 4) Installation of two (2) retaining walls (total length approximately 100 feet, height approximately 3 feet: 5) Construction of a Parking Area approximately 200 feet x 300 feet; and 6) Crushed Aggregate Surfacing of the Trail and Parking Area. A pre-bid showing/site visit will be held on July 20, 2001 starting at 9:30 a.m. local time at the Springs Valley Recreation Area on Tucker Lake located approximately 7 miles southeast of the town of French Lick, Indiana. This project will be solicited using the Invitation for Bid format and will be solicited on an unrestricted (no set-aside) basis. The estimated project value is between $100,000 and $250,000.
