Description

Work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to convert half of an approximately 6,000 square foot computer room into offices and a conference room at Building 4, NOAA Western Regional Center, 7600 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle, WA 98115. The work consists of: demolition; new access flooring; construction of new offices with carpeting, lighting, and HVAC; new sound system, raised dais, storage areas, counters, and sinks. Existing operations must be maintained during project work. The estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $750,000, including options. Project completion time is estimated to be 180 calendar days after notice to proceed. The solicitation will be available at no charge on or about July 16, 2001, at the DOC/NOAA/WASC, address listed above. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 233320 and the size standard is $27.5 million. A presolicitation announcement is being issued concurrently with this notice. See Numbered Note 1.
