Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is requesting a non-personal services for a Leisure Librarian. The solicitation packages will be available on July 16, 2001 with an anticipated bid opening on or about August 27, 2001. The successful bidder will be responsible for re-organizing and maintaining a comprehensive Leisure Library. The incumbent must have an extensive knowledge of outreach resources and services, specialized library materials, circulation systems, and cataloging systems. The schedule will be 12 hours a week. The contract period is for one year with two one year options to extend the term of the contract. Additionally, the successful bidder will be required to pass a background investigation.
