Description

Pending the availability of funds, the U.S. Department of Education needs contractor services to provide the Planning and Evaluation Service (PES), with technical support in developing effective and efficient management systems that align with and support the Department's management initiative. Primary focus of the contract will be identifying major management challenges in PES' structure, systems, policies, and practices, and developing and implementing improvement strategies to help managers (and staff) achieve their goals. Request solicitation ED-01-R-0025. Anticipated issue date: July 13, 2001 and closing date is August 13, 2001. Request for copies may be made by telephone, mail, telegram, or in person.
