- Description
- The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Center for Environmental Economics(NCEE), has a requirement for Technical Support to the National Center for Environmental Economics in the Areas of Economics Impact Analysis, Risk Assessment, Risk Management, and Cost Benefit Analysis. Areas of support will include economic impact analysis, risk assessment/risk management and benefit-cost analysis. This procurement may require the Contractor to research, evaluate and analyze data and information in connection with the Agency's regulatory programs. Although this procurement will lean heavily toward support for regulatory actions and policies, there shall also be a need for evaluation and analysis in the areas of economic policy, science policy, climate change policy issues, environmental indicators, international trade issues, comparative risk, and the Agency's non-regulatory and other voluntary programs. The specific task areas included in the Statement of Work (SOW) are: (1) Economic Impact Analysis, (2)Assessing the Benefits of Human Health and Environmental Risk Reduction, and (3) Benefit-Cost and Cost-Effectiveness Analysis. The Technical Evaluation Criteria are as follows: (1) Management Approach and Personnel Qualification, (2) Technical Approach, (3) Corporate Experience and (4) Past Performance. This Requirement will be procured using FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541620. EPA anticipates awarding a cost plus award fee contract with a period of performance totaling five years (a one year base period and four one year options). The maximum level of effort for all option periods and optional quantities contemplated is approximately 300,000 hours. The purpose of this CBD announcement is to notify potential offeror's of EPA's requirement and to direct interested parties to the EPA's "Doing Business with the EPA" Internet World Wide Website, for further information on this procurement as it becomes available.
