Description

Daily passenger shuttle services are required between Federal Buildings in Reston and Herndon, Virginia and the Main Interior Building, Washington, DC. The contractor shall provide drivers and three vehicles capable of carrying at least 13 passengers each. On-call shuttle service is also required. The Government anticipates awarding a single contract with one base year (10/01/01-9/30/02) and two (1)one -year option periods. The proposed contract is a 100-percent small business set-aside. Request for RFP No. 01HQSS0015 will be available electronically on/about 7/9/01. Vendors who are interested in this requirement should e-mail or submit a written request to the Contracting Officer; telephone requests will not be honored. Requests may be made by facsimile to 703-648-7901. Only one RFP will be issued per company. The Government intends to acquire these services using the procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 -- Acquisition of Commercial Items. All responsible offerors may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. See Numbered Note 1.
