Description

Work under this contract shall consist of construction of Phase II of the Services Complex at Grissom ARB, Indiana. Complex includes 118 lodging rooms within a four-story structure with a single-story lobby. Construction includes grade beams,caissons, brick veneer on non-loadbearing studs, brick veneer on cmu,precast hollow core floor units, structural standing seam metal roof on purlins, drywall partitions, wood and plastic laminate casework, wood and steel doors, and aluminum clad wood windows. Construction shall be complete with required utilities, storm drainage, communications, electric, HVAC, fire protection, walks, curbs & gutters, parking, access drive, exterior lighting, landscaping, and grading. The price proposal will consist of the base bid as outlined above and five (5) bid options. Options 1, 2, and 3 are additional parking lots, Option 4 is landscaping and Option 5 is site irrigation. This is a Request for Proposal and offers will be evaluated in accordance with the following criteria, listed in descending order of importance: 1)Past Experience, 2)Past Performance, 3)Administrative/Management, 4)Price Proposal, 5)Subcontracting Goals and 6)Self-performed work, with price being approximately equal to all other factors combined. The estimated cost range is $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. The approximate issue date is o/a 23 Jul 2001, with an approximate proposal due date of 22 Aug 2001.
