Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes sole source solicitaion; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued in accordance with Note 22. 701811Q041 is issued as a sole source request for quotation. This acquisition and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. The following will be purchased from Telonics, 932 E Impala Ave Mesa, AZ 85204 due to refurbishing of Telonics manufactured collars. Telonics is the only manufacturer of these collars to fabricate hermetically sealed collars from the factory and refurbish collars hermetically sealed. 1. Refurbish GPS store on board radio collars for brown bears. Refurbish conventional VHF collars for brown bears, caribou and wolves. Refurbish conventional VHF collars with mortality sensors for brown bears, caribou and wolves. Purchase GPS store on board radio collars for adult caribou. purchase conventional VHF collars for caribou. Delivery, inspection and acceptance will be at US Fish and Wildlife Service, Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, 2139 Ski Hill Road, Soldotna, AK 99669 on or before 083101 The following provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial items apply to this acquisition. A completed copy of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items must be included with the offer. The following clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this order.
