Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, requires the necessary labor, materials, parts, equipment and supervision in strict accordance with the specifications for replacement of interior lighting at the Soil & Water Research Unit, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Principle features of work shall consist of: removal of existing suspended acoustical tile ceiling and insulation; removal of existing lighting fixtures; providing suspended acoustical tile ceiling and insulation; providing fluorescent light fixtures; minor electrical work and painting of ceilings and walls. An IFB will be issued on or about July 17, 2001. An estimated cost of this project is between $25,000. and $100,000.
