Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) intends to extend its Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMC) Contract for the Office of Finance (BCA) Accounting Systems Division for the National Electronic Accounting and Reporting System (NEAR) for an additional 33 months, January 1, 2002 through September 30, 2004. The Office of Finance has a requirement for continuous ADP support of the same quality and capabilities for the NEAR System for thirty-three months. The NEAR System operates on LMC mainframe services. The NEAR System currently uses LMC?s proprietary code called BRIDGE, BRUCE, SINK, FORTRAN developed interface, IBM proprietary Display Management System (DMS) screen developer. REXX is the control language used. Due to the fact that the NEAR System is critical to GSA?s mission, it must continue its operation without any disruption, degradation or delays of any nature. All responses from responsible sources received within fifteen (15) days from date of publication of this notice will be considered. All responses must be in writing and contain sufficient information for GSA to determine your firm?s qualifications to provide the required service. A solicitation document does not exist. No written or telephone requests for a solicitation will be accepted. =20
