Description

The work under this contract consists of chip and seal of approximately 36,000 square yards of park roads and parking areas at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, Shasta County, California. Contract duration is 30 calendar days. The price range is $25,000 to $100,000. The contract will be firm fixed-price. This procurement is open to both large and small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 234110 and the annual size standard is $27.5 million. Requests for the solicitation shall be in writing stating Request for Quotation No. Q8050010123, with complete name, address, area code and telephone number and facsimile number. Solicitation may be personally acquired from the Contracting Officer or by fax or mail. The facsimile number is (415) 427-1328. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. Mail solicitation requests to the National Park Service, Pacific Great Basin Support Office, Contracting Team, 600 Harrison Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, California 94107-1372. This procurement will be awarded the responsible quoter whose quote represents the "best value" to the Government. The best value determination will ba made on the basis of (1) quality and (2) price. The Government will assess the quality of each quoter on the basis of (1) its past performance; (2) its experience; and (3) its qualifications and experience of key personnel. The Government considers a quoter's quality to be approximately equal to its price. A limited number of solicitations will be available July 17, 2001 at no charge and issued on a first-come-first-served basis. Only one solicitation package per company. Planholders list is available through written request to the Contracting Officer. Furnishing of planholders list via fax will not be available.
