Description

The Officer in Charge requires all labor, supervision, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation and management necessary to service facilities to winterize and activate two (2) swimming pools and perform indefinite quantity work items of maintence, repair and minor construction designated by the Contracting Officer at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. Work is to be accomplished by means of a combination firm fixed-price and indefinite quanitity type contract. The contract term is for a base period of one (1) to twelve months and anticipated options to extend for an additional period of one to twelve months, with a total duration not to exceed 60 months. The NAICS code is 56179. The proposed procurement listed herein is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site on or about July 16, 2001. The estimated Bid Opening Date (BOD) is August 16, 2001.
