Description

This procurement is being conducted under FAR 13 simplified acquisition procedures as a request for quotations. The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to restripe approximately 33.6 miles of the motor road of the Natchez Trace Parkway, a unit of the National Park Service. Section one starts approximately 10 miles north of Natchez, Mississippi and runs from milepost 8.2 north to milepost 20.0 in Adams and Jefferson counties. Section two is located near Port Gibson, Mississippi and runs from milepost 37.4 north to milepost 59.2 in Claiborne county. Total approximate quantities include 27.4 miles of 90 mil thermoplastic broken yellow centerline, 19.1 miles of 90 mil thermoplastic solid yellow centerline, and 67.2 miles of 40 mil hot spray paint white edge stripe. The period of performance is 60 days. Magnitude of this project is $25,000 to $100,000. Procurement is being conducted under full and open competition procedures.
