Description

The work consists of removing, replacing, and disposing of the existing asphalt shingle roofing materials, replace sheathing as needed, and furnishing and installing a new asphalt roof shingle, metal flashing including ridge venting and accessories. Work also includes removing/replacing damaged/deteriorated sheathing, removing/replacing all building soffits and fascia, and installing new gutters and downspout on the north side of the building. Approximate size of roof is 3400 square feet. The Equipment Storage & Mechanic Shop building is located at the Kenai Lake Work Center. The project site is approximately 100 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska on Seward Highway. All work is to be performed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday unless otherwise approved, in advance, by the Contracting Officer. Contract time is 20 calendar days. Estimated start work date is September 10, 2001. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is a 100% set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns.
