Description

The work to be performed consists of repairing four (4) Worthington 12H110-2 vertical turbine pumps for influent and relift pump rebuild at the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel (LMTD), Leadville, Colorado. The work will consist of: (a) pulling pumps, disassembly and inspections;(b) removal of stuffing box bushing of discharge head, sandblasting, deburr and prep for paint, painting; (c) work on four (4) impellers; (d) discharge casing, suction bell, bowls; (e) replacement of impeller rings, suction busing and stuffing box bushing; (f) replacement of shafts; (g) ratchets and strainer baskets to be included and installed; (h) numerous work on pump assembly. The estimated price range of the work is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. The Request For Quotes (RFQ) will be made available on or around July 9, 2001, and quotes are due in this office on or before Close of Business (COB) July 27, 2001. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This is a total Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3561. The North American Industry Classification System code is 333911. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees.
