Description

The Bureau of Land Management intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Kaplan & Company, Charlottesville, VA for consultant services to assist in building new organizational units, conduct organizational assessments, and design conferences and workshops. This is a SOLE SOURCE procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and is not a request for competitive quotes, however, responses received from responsible sources prior to close of business on July 10, 2001 will be reviewed. An in-depth understanding of the BLM IRM organization and knowledge of the recent realignment of the IRM functions within the BLM Directorate are essential and required. Kaplan & Company has the requisite professional experience in organization development, human assessment, group dynamics and event process facilitation in relation to a Federal Government Agency and specifically the BLM IRM functions. The BLM intends to award an IDIQ contract for 1 base year with 4 option years. The anticipated support for this acquisition is one employee on an infrequent basis. SEE NOTE 1
