Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking a qualified organization capable of providing trash pick-up on a requirements basis for the Federal Prison Camp in Alderson, WV. The contractor must supply all equipment necessary to fulfill the terms of this contract, which includes; one (1) six cubic yard dumpster, two thirty cubic yard roll off boxes, one twenty-three cubic yard self contained compactor to be emptied two times per week, and one twenty-three cubic yard compactor to be emptied one time per week, and two twenty cubic yard roll off boxes. This includes transportation to and from the landfill. Pick up service will also be required at residential and designated "hot" areas. This contract is not set aside for small business of labor surplus areas. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Non-Personal Services Requirements Contract. The contract will be awarded utilizing simplified acquisition procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. The contract period will be from date of award through September 30, 2002. The contractor will be required to house a refuse business within a one hundred (100) mile radius of this facility. Request for Quotation packets will be available approximately July 26, 2001. They may be requested via mail at Federal Prison Camp, Box A, Glen Ray Road, Alderson, West Virginia 24910, attention Danny Dominick, Supervisory Contract Specialist. Faxed or Telephone quotations will not be considered. The solicitation will not be available electronically. It is estimated that the closing date for this Request for Quotation will be August 16, 2001, at 3 p.m. local time. All requests should be made prior to this time.
