**THIS IS A MODIFICATION TO POSTING PBF076** DUE TO A SHORT FUSE REQUIREMENT WITH THE FIRST CLASS STARTING 09JULY01, THIS POSTING WILL CLOSE 03JULY01, 0900 EST. (SEE Note 22) This proposed procurement is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with; Lockheed Martin Aeronautical sys. ; 86 South Cobb Dr. ; Marietta, Ga 30063. The services required will allow personnel to receive needed training for HC-130 technical training. Lockhead Martin is the manufacturer of the aircraft members are receiving training for. This training has been tailored to meet the needs of USCG personnel and covers specific blocks of applicable instruction directly related to job tasking. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabilities, A list of classes needed are as follows : 1.) Airframe & Fuel tank Repair course #531 ; 6 students per course ; Date : 23 July -17 Aug 01. 2.)Environmental Control Systems course #556 ; 6 students per course ;Date : 09 -20 July 01. 3.)Auxilary Power Unit (APU) Maintenence course #576 ; 6 students per course. Date : 09 -13 July 01. 4.)Aircraft Electrical & Instrument systems Line Maintenence course #911. 12 students per course. Date : 16 July -17 Aug 01. Applicable FAR clauses for solicitation are attached. If such person do wish to submit quotations, all quotations must be received via FAX: (202) 267-4440, ATTN: J.Stieber, By 12 noon, EST, 06 July 2001. A Determination by the government not to complete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. (SEE Note 22)
