Description

Construction of three low water crossings on Maple Springs Road in Silverado Canyon on the Trabuco Ranger District, Cleveland National Forest. All three crossings are concrete, 14 foot wide, with an upstream cutoff wall and downstream scour key. The crossings will have paved approaches. The crossings are located in Threatened and Endangered Species habitat and are therefore subject to special project constraints including a construction season from October 1 to March 30. The items of work include but are not limited to; surveying, quality control, structural excavation, structural concrete and rebar, rip rap placement, gabions, silt fence installation, grading and aggregate base placement, paving and signing. Pland and specifications will be available on or about July 27, 2001. Contract time is 127 calendar days.
