Description

Work consist of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof to remove five underground storage tanks and install one new underground storage tank. Work is to include the removal of four 30,000-gallon tanks and one 1,000-gallon tank. All associated piping, pumps, electrical circuits, and cathodic protection will be removed. One new 30,000-gallon tank will be installed. All associated piping, pumps, electrical circuits, and monitoring points will be installed. Two existing boiler burners will be modified. Two existing day tanks will be modified. The contractor will be responsible for all required permits and testing required by the City of St. Louis and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. The contractor will be responsible for the removal of all contaminated soils and other waste products. A general contractor who has several years' experience in removal and installation of underground storage tanks shall perform the work. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NIMA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 150 calendar days. The approximate cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code for this project is 233320, size standard $27.5M. This project is currently Subject to the Availability of Funds. The work is located at the National Imagery and Mapping Agency(NIMA), 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO 63118-3399. This project is 100 percent set-aside for small business.
