- Modify the description to read inches in lieu of questions marks?? as follows: 1. Door, Joiner, aluminum with steel frame to be constructed I.A.W. Coast Guard Dwg. 225-wlb-624-2, (5)each. Item 2-Door, 26 inches x 57 inches clear opening with 8" radius corners, watertight, mild steel material, right hand swing out, individually dogged. Door shall have six (6) dogs and shall be fitted with a hasp and eye assembly. Door frame to be 1/4 inches thick 2 inches x 3 inches steel angle for installation into bulkhead. All components of the door shall be of rugged construction. Designed for heavy duty service and suitable for marine use and free from defects in design. Material and workmanship, all fasteners and hardware shall be 300 series grade 18-8 stainless steel. Door and frame to be factory primed. Door shall be required to withstand a test pressure of 6 PSI. The unit shall be in accordance with 225-WLB-597-15 and buships dwgs. 805-1400069. Used for new fan room # 2-39-2. Packaging specifications, Packaging and marking of doors, hatches and scuttles, marine type for shipment shall be individually packaged, shall have a first wrap of fiberboard or plastic to ensure cleanliness, Shall have an outer shipping crate of wood construction with a pallet type base for ease of handling, and be secured in shipping crate with sufficient blocking and bracing to prevent shifting during shipment. Item markings shall be in accordance with CGAP 1210.9004 bar coding requirements. Delivery to be F.O.B Destination, USCG Engineering Logistic Center, 2401 Hawkins Pt. Rd., Receiving Rm. Bldg.86, Baltimore, MD 21226. Delivery shall be thirty days after the issuance of a delivery order. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. See numbered Note 1.
