- 17. Potential sources sought: The U. S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center is seeking qualified sources that can provide technical service requirements for Woodward Micronet Programmable Logic Fuel Control Systems. The services shall consist of: trouble shooting engine casualties, failure analysis, determining root cause of casualties, corrective action, and field repairs in accordance with Specification No. P-234-0377. It is the Government's belief that only Woodward Governor Company, Industrial Products Group, the OEM, or their authorized dealers can provide the required services. However, other potential sources with the expertise and required capabilities to submit such services can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered services: (1) data that the offered services have been satisfactorily offered to the Government and (2) proof that the contractor has complete and current capability to provide the required technical services including trouble shooting and monitoring software and hardware necessary to trouble shoot, monitor and repair the Woodward MicroNet Fuel Control System installed on the U. S. Coast Guard 378 foot high endurance cutters. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal IAW the above requirements. No cost or pricing is required. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 5.207(e)(3). The contract will be for one base year with four option years (if exercised). The NAICS Code for this requirement is 541990; and the services are considered to be commercial. Loans are available under the Short-Term Lending Program. (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
