Description

Non-Personal, Commercial Services. Furnish management, labor and supplies to perform the following requirement in Government-owned, Contractor-operated (GOCO) facilities at Fort Sill, Oklahoma: Operation of the Clothing Initial Issue Point (CIIP), including ordering, issuing and storage of military clothing; perform alterations and tailoring tasks for the CIIP; perform functions of the Quality Logistics Management (QLM) manager; and furnish personnel to provide on-the job training of military prisoners in clothing and equipment repair at the Regional Confinement Facility. The base contract period is 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002, with four one-year option periods. The approximate RFP issue date is 20 July 2001. The approximate response date for receipt of bids is 17 August 2001. NAICS code 811490 applies to the principal nature of this acquisition. The applicable size standard is $5.0 million. Competition for this acquisition is limited to eligible 8(a) firms. Offers will be evaluated on the basis of best value and past performance. A firm-fixed-price contract is anticipated.
