Description

The work covered by this project consists of the contractor furnishing all layout, survey, plant, labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machines, tools, appliances, services, supplies, and incidentals and of performing all operations in connection with the performing protective coating and pavement making at Goodfellow AFB, Texas and the Goodfellow AFB Recreation Camp located at Lake Nasworthy, complete and in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 23521 and the size standard is $11.5 million. This solicitation is restricted to small business concerns. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The period of performance is basic year and two (2) one year options with a guaranteed minimum of $100,000 per contract period. The anticipated date for a site visit is O/A 05 Aug 01. The anticipated proposal due date is 20 Aug 01 with award date of 1 Oct 01. Exact dates will be shown in the Request for Proposal (RFP) when posted on or about 20 Jul 01. All request for clarification of specifications must be faxed to (915) 654-5149. In accordance with FAR 52.236-27, offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The solicitation will be available via FedBizOps website.
