Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with the Simplified Aquisition Procedures. The U.S. FWS intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the construction of a New Boat Ramp at the Ace Basin NWR ,Hollywood, SC, includiing but not limited to :dredging to finish grade level, placement of crushed shell and compaction, placement of geotextile fabric, construction of rienforced concrete ramp including concrete logs with galavanized connectors in accordance with the Statement of Work and Drawings contained in the solicitation package.Contractor shall have boat ramp construction experience.Concrete quality test shall be performed by an approved testing laboratory. Solicitation Issue Date :07/16/2001 Open/Close Date: 08/16/2001 No solicitation will be forwarded prior to the solicitation issue date cited above. All request for solicitation packages must be in writing and faxed or e-mailed with mailing adress provided. a firm Fixed Price order will be issued, with a performance period of 60 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
