Description

Z -- Relocate two trailheads that access the Siskiyou Wilderness area. The trailheads are located on the Smith River National Recreation Area around Gasquet, CA on the Six Rivers National Forest. Work includes decommissioning 0.9 miles of Forest Service road, ripping, excavating, constructing channels for water coursed, removal and disposal of culverts, removal and salvage of a Romtec SST (vault toilet)to be reinstalled at new trailhead. The trailhead work includes excavation, embankment, clearing, installing the salvaged Romtec SST, picnic tables, fire rings and barrier rocks. This solicitation should be issued on or about July 25, 2001.
