Description
Professional A/E services required for road, drainage, minor concrete structure and retaining wall design. Does not include bridge design. Any contract resulting from this request will be for multiple tasks and will provide for a base year plus 4 additional unilateral option years. Work may include survey, trail tasks, road tasks, inspection and other A/E services. Work under this contract will be performed on Federal lands located in northern California, southern Oregon and western Nevada. All interested offerors must submit an SF-254 and SF-255 to the USDA Forest Service, Northern Province Acquisitions, Willows Office, 825 N. Humboldt Avenue, Willows, CA 95988. The office address shown in Item 7 above is NOT the office that will be administering the contract(s). NOTE: potential offerors may receive a statement of work by FAXing a request to Marilyn Ladd at 530 934- 7773. No telephonic requests will be accepted. The due date and time for receipt of offers will be shown in the Statement of Work; the estimated date is 08/22/2001. The following criteria will be applied listed in descending order of importance: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules; and (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; provided that application of this criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the project. In order to receive maximum consideration, interested firms should address the evaluation criteria individually and in as much detail as possible.
