Description

The Bureau of Reclamation intends to award a sole source financial assistance agreement to the Water Education Foundation in support of one issue of the Colorado River Report biennial newsletter. The Foundation writes, publishes and distributes a 12-page newsletter to promote a broader understanding of the current issues involving the Colorado River. Each newsletter includes an in-depth news story on a timely subject essential to the Colorado River. The newsletter also includes a shorter news story, briefs for both Upper and Lower basins, and a calendar of events. Other potential recipients may identify their interest and capability to write, publish and distribute a similar newsletter. This notice is neither a request for applications nor for proposals. However, all information received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed financial assistance agreement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to compete this financial assistance project. Also, see CBD Note 25.
