Description

The Forest Service intends to issue a Request for Proposals for the above project. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation and materials to accomplish the conversion from septic tank/leach field to gravity sewer lines at the Hayfork Ranger Station main office and work compound. Work includes abandonment of existing septic tanks, installation of a sewage lift station with grinder pump and control panel, electrical service to the control panel, and construction and connection of new sewer system to existing city sewer lines. The project is located in Hayfork, California; to reach the project take State Highway 299 West from Redding. Head north on State Highway 3 into Hayfork, CA. The main office is on Trinity Street, the work compound is off of Forest Avenue. A pre-proposal tour is planned for August 8, 10:00 a.m. at the Hayfork Ranger District, reservations are required, contact Rhonda Bowers at (530) 242-2294. Price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bonding is required. The Government will award the contract to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government based on the merits of the proposal for: technical approach, past performance, experience of project personnel, capacity to perform, and price. Solicitations documents will be available approximatley July 23. Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. August 22. There is a FEE of $15 for the solicitation documents.
