Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, requires the labor, materials, parts, equipment, and supervision in strict accorance to the specification package to expand the Feild Lab, Building No. 45, Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center, Stoneville, Mississippi. Work to be performed in Phases I -- II but continully from start of NTP date to completion. Princlple features are as follows: Phase I -- Demo of misc building components; Provide gypsum board partitions; Paint with epoxy; Provide HVAC and exhaust system with existing hardware; Plumbing fixturea; Provide interior / exterior doors; Provide electrical work; Provide vinyl composition flooe tile; Provide spray-applied insulation; additive bid for concrete slab. Phase II. (no break in work performance from phase I) Demo of misc building components; Provide pre-engineering metal building structure on concrete foundation; provide gypsum board partitions. Paint with epoxy paint; Provide metal lab cabinets with resistant laminate tops; Provide plumbing, heating, exhaust, and air conditioning work; Provide interior / exterior doors; Provide walk-in cooler; Provide electrical work; Provide vinyl composition tile flooring; Provide suspended accoustical ceiling. An IFB will be issued on or before July 24, 2001. An estimated cost of this project is between $250,000 -- $500,000.
