Description

The Monongahela National Forest anticipates contracting for the supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, and incidentals for the accurate collection of silvicultural data at the stand level as a basis for sound management decisions. This project is for various compartments in the Greenbrier and Gauley Ranger Districts of Randolph, Greenbrier, Webster, Nicholas, and Pocahontas Counties in West Virginia. It is anticipated that the quote package will be available on approximately July 20, 2001. Electronic quote packages may be obtained FREE on the specified date at the following website: http://www.fs.fed.us/r9/contracting/index.html, under solicitation number R9-ORB-01-358. Requests for hard copy quote packages must be submitted in writing to: USDA FOREST SERVICE, ATTN: BONNIE SMITH, MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST, 200 SYCAMORE STREET, ELKINS, WV 26241-3962. The charge for hard copy quote packages is $5.00 in advance. Checks should be made payable to USDA -- Forest Service. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted. THIS IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Quotes must be received by August 20, 2001, or 30 days after the quote package becomes available, whichever is later, at the website or in hard copy.
