SYNOPSIS FOR PROJECT NUMBER 980829 SOLICITATION NUMBER DAHA19-01-B-0004 REPLACE BOILER AT AASF#2 BUILDING # 7400 POC: Lt Col Gordon Dushane (508-233-6871) The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supervision, supplies, equipment, materials, and transportation to install a replacement boiler in accordance with the specifications. The work of this project includes but is not limited to some demolition, removal of small amounts of asbestos insulation and installing a new steam boiler. New unit shall include new burner and controls, all piping, repair of condensate pipes and breeching. Existing boiler remains in place. Project title is Replace Boiler at AASF #2 Building # 7400. All work is at Westover ARB, Chicopee, Massachusetts. Performance period is 30 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Prime contractor will be required to perform at least 20% of all work. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $50,000.00 and $100,000.00. This project is being issued as a FULL & OPEN to contractors qualified to perform under The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 235110 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors) SIC Code 1711. All interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to receive an award.
