Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Oxford, Wisconsin is soliciting to establish a non-personal service agreement to provide the services of a Psychiatrist. The Contractor will provide psychiatric care, treatment, and evaluation of the mental health needs and psychiatric disorders of the inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution/Federal Prison Camp, Oxford. The Contractor will provide written and/or dictated reports on all patients referred for psychiatric evaluation to the Clinical Director including recommendations for further diagnostic testing and/or psychiatric treatment. The Contractor will help monitor the attendance of inmate patients who are on call out ofr patient care, and shall report to the Health Services Administrator any infractions of institution rules/regulations on the part of the inmates. The Contractor is required to have extensive knowledge of psychiatric disorders and inmate care shall be commensurate with community standards. The Contractor shall furnish copies of all state licenses, board certifications, continuing education received during the contract period, proof of professional liability insurance, and a copy of diploma(s) for credentialing pursuant to JCAHO standards and Bureau of Prisons policies. Contractor will provide two hours per session for a total of eight sessions per month, for an estimated total amount of 48 sessions for the expected contract period of October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002. A firm-fixed option year contract is contemplated, cost will be based on the total price for the basic requirement together with any option(s) exercised at the time of award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by this office. The estimated range of this agreement is $25,000 to $100,000.
