Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Hubbs Sea World for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) in Honolulu, HI. Purpose of proposed procurement is to research color vision in sea turtles. Proposed contractor's lead investigators pioneered use of electrophysiological measurements of leatherback sea turtles, researched comparative vision research for over 15 years, and investigated marine mammal visual pigments. Lead investigators first ERG studies of any diving tetrapod species. Sources with similar qualifications and experience may submit such in writing to Randall Brown at fax 206-526-6025.
